Note:

"First performed 7 December 2011 with the Kreutzer Quartet at Wilton's Music Hall, London, and subsequently recorded for Clarinet Classics, the work represents a long-term collaboration with the composer (who is currently writing a solo clarinet piece) that explores fundamental clarinet sounds and multiple textures particularly influenced by the spectral composers Radulescu and Scelsi. The work was presented in a workshop in the Sound Box Series at the Royal Academy of Music (November 29 2011, http://www.peter-sheppard-skaerved.com/2011/12/mihailo-trandafilovski-magnets-lava-crystals/) and the item includes a filmed in-depth discussion of the work between Trandafilovski and Heaton as part of the download (http://www.clarinetclassics.com/shop/category/contemporary2/)."- Roger Heaton.
