In May 2002 I showed for the 1st time at the US main trade fair for Interior Design products called, ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair). The work investigated the concept of texture and surface in wallpaper design, traditionally something which had not been explored.

I was awarded for my work an Editors award for wall-coverings. These Editors awards are the only ones given at this trade show and are awarded by a panel of the most well known and respected international editors of the day. The award is among the industry's highest accolades, a summit of success for designers and manufactures in the field of contemporary furnishings.

Winning the award helped to start my work being sold to a wide variety of US based and also international clients who had visited the fair and also generated a high level of international press enquires and features.
