Abstract

Bath Spa University’s School of Education, in partnership with Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) Council, has produced a programme of research and training materials on attachment awareness, designed to help teachers and governors across the UK understand how failure to form secure attachments with adults at an early age can affect children throughout their education. The materials were commissioned by National College for Training and Leadership (NCTL) and have been endorsed by Minister for Children Edward Timpson.
