Animal calls

This paper was given at 'The Eleventh Transdisciplinary Theological Colloquim: Divinanimality: Creaturely Theology' at Drew University from the 29th September - 2nd October 2011. It also delivered as a public lecture at the University of Virginia on the 27th of September 2011. Additionally, it was presented at the Val Plumwood Memorial Lecture, part of the 5th Biennual Conference of the Australian Animal Studies Group. This was entitled 'AASG@Sydney: Life in the Anthropocene' and was held at the University of Sydney, Australia on the 8 - 10 July 2013.
