Abstract
Wen-Hsi has created a series of ceramic works based on fingerprints, chicken feet, spoons, the traditional wedding ceremony, bananas and old maps to explore tensions in Taiwanese cultural identity. Her research focuses on how issues of gender, Post-colonialism and the clash between traditional and modern values impact on cultural identity.
