| Note: | The exhibition was curated by Jungwon Gu. Young In Hong invited a Sharjah based graffiti artist, Steffi Bow so she could respond to, and complete the piece Hong sent over from Seoul. They made this piece without meeting in person. Canvases were made by Hong, and were installed on the walls of Maraya Art Centre. Each canvas had a found graffiti image that has been transfered to the embroidery on fabric. Bow sprayed paint on the walls and the canvases, in respond to Hong's work as she interpreted it. She was given the freedom to do whatever she regarded as appropriate to finish the work. |
