Mirrorland

Lewis-Smith, C (2010) Mirrorland.

Item Type: Film/video
Creators: Lewis-Smith, C
Abstract: Mirrorland draws on investigations into how we experience landscape, in this instance one that is English and agricultural. The idea that our perception of landscape, and figures within it, is essentially a reflection of ourselves, is central to this short film. Choreography was developed from improvised tasks concerning ‘conversations with the landscape’, and the edit sets out to construct an ambiguous narrative.
