Abstract: | This is a performance work devised and directed by dance artist Beth Powlesland. Beth is a performer and a maker of innovative interdisciplinary work and is a performer for, and a part of, the Cardiff based Earthfall Dance collective. She collaborates with artists using a wide range of creative media. This work uses frozen spheres of paint suspended by a spiral metal sculpture over a large canvass. As the paint melts so the performer, Lara Ward, paints with her body. |
