Abstract: | A film about a city consists of a number of architecture models placed on tables, each recreating a partial narrative of an imaginary city, part autobiographical, part fictional, that reflected idiosyncrasies of city life and public space. First presented in 2015, the work was shown at the following exhibitions: An almost identical copy - Carroll/Fletcher, London 24 April - 30 May 2015; Some Things are Undesigned - Gallery von Bartha, Basel, Switzerland 7 November 2015 - 23 January, 2016; and, Other plans - Gallery Vera Cortes, Lisbon, Portugal. 27 January – 11 March 2017. This collection includes: A 300-word statement about the project, a Research Timeline and Research Questions for the project, and images of the work, taken during the exhibition at Gallery Vera Cortes, Lisbon, Portugal. |
