| Abstract: | Waypoints is a four track EP exploring the shared sociological and compositional practices in electronic music within academic and commercial circles. The EP explores both gesture/texture based practices, common to acousmatic music as well as beat and pattern based structures more common to commercial electronic music. This collection documents a single component output with contextualising information. The items provide evidence of the 300-Word Statement, Research Questions & Research Timeline and Four Track EP which is the research output for this project. |
