Abstract

Conducting research with young children in the early years can be challenging. Methods traditionally used in research, such as interviews and observations, can pose particular problems when used with young children. In this session we will explore what those problems might be and, drawing on recent research studies, look at alternative, child-friendly methods which could be used with children in the early years.
