Abstract
This chapter supplements a digital hypertext that suggests multiple different but overlapping theories surrounding 2023’s The Flash. These ruminations interlink giving distinctly different insights into the philosophy of the filmmakers, the industry environment, and the conventions of the medium. Rather than producing one superstructural answer to the film then, the online text suggests multiple avenues for the reader to hold simultaneously, a multiverse of conceptual possibilities. This chapter provides surrounding context to the creative decisions in creating the work and a key to approaching its structure.
