Abstract
A forum for contributors and readers of the book 'The Mobile Audience' by Martin Rieser. It covers a history of wirefree art from gallery to public spaces. Mobile works based on locative technologies, wearables, wifi and 3G are examined from the viewpoint of audience.

Note: | This edited weblog is based on primary field research. Its principal aims being to interrogate and explain the visual languages and critical discourses growing around new art and narrative forms using mobile technologies, in particular through examining audience response. It provides web-based documentation for the 2011 publication "The Mobile Audience" but it is also ongoing as a separate current project. |
