Abstract
The paper and article addressed issues arising from institutional collaboration and centralised on the ways in which display can address and involve visitors at an emotional level. It discussed the influence of oral history testimony on the project as a whole and outlined how dress in a museum context can be more than an exhibit of the disembodied clothing of the dead . The article focuses on the relationship between garments and the audience as a site of remembrance and potential discourse.
