Abstract
The work of Eva Hild discussed in relation to ‘neo-formalism’. Until Jo Dahn visited Eva Hild's studio she had never encountered her work in the flesh. From photographs, the large-scale sculpture seemed to exemplify what Dahn had begun to think of as a 'neo-formalist' tendency in contemporary ceramics. In this four-page feature Dahn investigates whether 'neo-formalist' might usefully be applied to Hild's practice.
