Addison, J and Kidd, N (2012) e. Tate Modern Learning.
Devised by artists Jo Addison and Natasha Kidd for the Tate Modern. This resource consists of 40 separate cards. These offer visual and written prompts to encourage enquiry and deeper understanding around some of the key concepts and principles in Boetti’s work: order and disorder, work and play, collaboration, the passing of time and duality. Conceived as a starting point, this resource can be distributed, shuffled and added to. You are encouraged to think, look harder, raise questions, mimic, draw links and find difference.
Commissioned by Tate Modern Learning to develop a publication/resource to accompany the retrospective show of Alghiero Boetti at Tate Modern. The resource proposes ideas, activities, discussions and suggested ways to creatively explore the exhibition, Tate Collection and contemporary practice. This resource will be platformed at the 2012 Engage Conference
