Abstract
This chapter discusses practices of contemporary movement notation in performance making contexts. The author discusses the work of Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984), Rudolf Laban (1879-1948), Hilde Hilger(1905-2001) and British choreographer Rosemary Lee, and discusses somatic informed, experiential modalities of the categorizing and archiving of embodied practice.
