Abstract:	Over the span of four hours and via live internet video, artists Timo Kube and Robert Luzar will unravel a complex dialogue over two terms: ‘friendship’ and ‘gelassenheit’. The video call will come from Luzar, while he travels by train outside of Toronto, Canada. Kube, being in Dortmund, Germany, will performatively respond to Luzar’s video display – a view outside his train window. Together they will meditate on friendship in terms of being present and giving the present as a gift, a gift in being with one another through releasement [gelassenheit].
