The Snow Ball was a commissioned project to curate and produce a one night event for approximately 5,000 visitors in Frome, UK. The event, organised by Anthony Head included 4 outdoor projections by artists and one by school children.
Anthony Head created a large projection, called the Gingerbread House. This was an interactive projection controlled by a midi interface and created with 3D graphics and was performed by the artist, along with music from the orchestra, Frome Symphony. The concept was all part of the an outdoor ball, where the public were encouraged to engage in dancing during the event.
Anthony Head was the organiser of this event. The evening featured a giant gingerbread house installation by projection artist Anthony Head and a masquerade ball in the Market Place for everyone to join in, with live music from Frome Symphony. The ball followed the Christmas light switch on at 7.30pm. There was also a further 3 projections by local artists Gitte Morten, Clare Venables and Patrick Dunn.
