Abstract

Following on from the October 2015 event, this colloquium furthered the exploration of the topic of Elastic Space. It featured a number of presentations and two keynote speakers. It was a workshop-oriented 4 day event that included many discussion sessions and practical explorations of stereo 3D technology and software artefacts. Anthony Head, the co-leader of the research topic, opened the proceedings with a presentation on defining elastic space, a topic that covers augmented and virtual reality, outdoor projection and stereoscopy. He also demonstrated a work in progress, a 3D sketching tool (seen the image connected to this entry).
