| Abstract: | Translation: Object/Text/Object is an open-ended conversation between artist Conor Wilson and curator Amanda Game which is drawing together poems, objects, film, sound and changing handwritten inscriptions to draw attention to the layers of communication present in the relationships between text and object in physical exhibition spaces. TRANSLATION explores the material dynamics of different forms of language, and image, and considers the value of embodied thinking and tacit knowledge as an animating presence in the curation and production of exhibitions. |
