Abstract
A talk by Jenny Dunseath (London-based artist and Senior lecturer in Fine Art at Bath School of Art & Design) for NCAS. In partnership with Dr Mark Wilsher (NUA), Jenny Dunseath recently published 'Artist Boss', a collection of interviews and critical texts about Anthony Caro and his studio assistants. Jenny gave an enthralling illustrated talk about Artist Boss and the overarching project, with insights into Caro’s assistants and their relationship to him. The project raises questions about the status of production, originality, authenticity and authorship within the tradition of twentieth-century British sculpture.
