Education and warfare in Europe

The co-authored book is set within the fields of enquiry of intercultural education and comparative education. It draws on previously published articles by the authors. Each author wrote a set of first draft chapters. These were then subsequently considerably revised by the other author. The book is innovative in taking a radical look at the nationalistic and militaristic aspects of the school curriculum and in adopting a trans-European perspective. It has been adopted into the literature on peace and warfare as well as education.
