Abstract
As the Web technology develops rapidly, search engine as an important part of web technology has been widely used by people. A huge number of results are produced when users input query to normal search engines. However, many of the results are irrelevant. This paper presents a system that has been used to adjust the web search programs satisfy individual client's needs. This work can be explained in three directions. Firstly, a novel technique presented is proposed combining semantic web technology and personalised technology. Secondly, a new meta-search engine is created to make the results more relevant. Finally this paper presents a running example to show the query will be analysed more comprehensively are generated fewer but more personalised results to individual users are generated compared with Google search engine.
