The documentation and educational dissemination of interviews with WW2 surviving refugees in relation to the topic, culminating in a panel discussion and presentation at The Jewish Museum in London (January 2013)
The publication of a book ‘The Secret Listeners’ (to be published in July 2013) in collaboration with Pascal Theatre Company, London, English Heritage, Jewish Museum. TK will be part of the editors of the book and contribute a chapter.
The project investigated how innovative performance-led processes can be employed as a pedagogical process and tool for trans-generational knowledge transfer . The performance project was conceived and directed by TK and performed to an audience of c.a. 800 mostly elderly ‘participants’, by a group of professional and young performers. The piece was created in collaboration with award- winning sound artist Nick Ryan, Video Artist Mark Norfolk, Composer-Singer Helen Chadwick, and Social Historian Inge Weber-Newth.
