| Abstract: | Kusanganisa, the Shona word for mixture, is a transcultural collaboration between four musicians from different traditions: Nick Sorensen (from England) is a jazz saxophonist; Chartwell Dutiro (from Zimbabwe) plays mbira and sings and has been brought up in the Shona tradition; Leandro Maia (from Brazil) is a guitarist, singer and composer and Chris Blanden(from England) is a bass player with a background in rock music. |
