| Abstract: | I performed my composition, 'Riots' at the 44 A.D. gallery for the release of the book, 'Find Another Bath' to a crowd of around 70 people. The book is the collection of exhibits which were artistic responses to oft-forgotten aspects and places in Bath's history, particularly during the industrial revolution. The art in the exhibition and book included sculptures, poems, and paintings. This piece is a part of my ongoing exploration of composing for trumpet and electronics while exploring improvisational practices. |
