Abstract

IOB contributed Pauses to the symposium as a way to activate IOB in the moment, to literally pause/ interrupt the work of the symposium and bring another rhythm/ register to the event. The Pauses involved: chewing gum together silently for a minute, everyone painting their nails and smoothing tin-foil.
