Abstract
Assesses the capacity of the Turkish private enforcement regime to offer redress to the victims of cartels causing large scale harm, using the example of the collusion between 12 banks to fix their maximum interest rates for savings and loans and the fees and commissions for credit card services. Considers the extent of the consumer harm caused by the cartel. Calls for the introduction of a collective redress mechanism.
