Abstract

China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is one of the most ambitious projects of the modern age, both in South Asia and worldwide. A complex partnership known as the “China–Pakistan Economic Corridor” could be facilitated by the US$46 billion investment promised by Chinese President Xi Jinping in April 2015. China and Pakistan have decided to construct a single road and belt with the goal of fostering peace and prosperity. They also hope to boost business by fostering trade with the rest of the globe and with each other. This massive project aims to improve Pakistan’s road, railway, and telecommunications infrastructure, overcome energy crises, advance trade, modernise and expand the manufacturing and agricultural sectors, and increase mutual connectivity between the two nations’ citizens—a crucial component of trade. China’s economy, which is currently the strongest, will help Pakistan, a newly emerging economy. With the use of cutting-edge technology and substantial financial backing, this massive enterprise aims to support Pakistan through its challenges while also bolstering regional trade. The document analysis data gathered from verified and policy papers is presented in this study. The findings point to the possibility of socio-economic growth for the areas and the main entry point for trade benefits between China, the Middle East, and Africa.
