Based on the concept of deconstruction and re-construction, this wallpaper was developed from observations of buildings and their constituent elements. The emphasis was on investigating and returning the intrinsic features of the interior environment, resulting in a design representative of brickwork, a fundamental construction unit within the creation of the space.

Positioned behind the reception desk, and constantly on view to all visitors, the design was chosen as an example of an overall concept of simplicity of form and materials, whilst maintaining its own integral identity. It does not dominate the space but adds a third dimension to what would normally be considered a 2 dimensional product.

The wallpaper has been extremely successful and used in the 2006 Ist Honor Award for Interior Architecture Project by the Rene Gonzalez Architectural practise, based in Miami USA.
