Panther Panther live at The Jam Jar

For this performance Villierezz was invited to develop a different hardware setup to support the touring artist Pachyman, a Puerto Rican composer exploring sound system culture. As part of the band 'Xaman X' Villierezz plays faster, club and festival focused compositions with a 4-piece band. Their personal compositions are slower and more within the "tropical downtempo" genre in the Global Bass scene. For this performance, instead of playing their compositions, Villierezz developed a new system of performing electronic cumbia but fusing it with dub and reggae aesthetics to fit the bill. However, this project gained such great feedback from the public that Villierezz will now continue developing it as new act focused on cumbia ambient and dub.

This project will be called "Electric Balam" in the future but here Villierezz was billed as "Panther Panther".
