Abstract
As an example of ecocritical pedagogy, a weekend residential programme is outlined that uses creative writing to raise environmental awareness through a polemical engagement with a specific local environmental issue. Poetry, narrative and discursive writing, interviews and group presentations are all used in what becomes an introduction to environmental politics.
